Fair Dinkum Fun at Dreamworld's Australian Sheep Shearing Show

If you’re looking for a laugh and some good old fashioned, fair dinkum fun then head to The Australian Sheep Shearing Show at Dreamworld.

It’s a light hearted look at life on an Australian farm where guests can learn to pat a llama, crack a whip, shear a sheep and experience an Aussie favourite, delicious scones and billy tea.

Showcasing the very best of Australia in one great location, The Australian Sheep Shearing Show is held in the newly built Dreamworld Woolshed which comfortable fits 400 guests with perfect views of the larrikin lads and all their farmyard friends.

The stars of the show are real life shearers who give guests a tongue-in-cheek taste of our unique Australian bush culture and a lesson on life in the outback. Not to forget the sheep, cattle dogs, python, and swooping owl.

For a whip-cracking good time, the Australian Sheep Shearing Show is a must-see, with three shows daily at 10.00am, 11.00am, and 2.00pm.

The Australian Sheep Shearing Show is part of Dreamworld’s Australian Wildlife Experience, home to over 450 native animals and birds. Cuddle a koala, relax with the kangaroos and get up close to gigantic crocs, emus, dingoes, wombats, Tasmanian devils, cassowaries and other Aussie icons.

Dreamworld is located on Queensland’s Gold Coast, 30 minutes north of Surfers Paradise and 45 minutes from Brisbane. The park is open from 10am to 5pm every day except Christmas Day and Anzac Day morning (25/4).
